Communication and Visibility of GAIAthon ’25 Actions

Edenway Foundation is seeking proposals from experienced firms to design and execute a comprehensive communication campaign for the GEO-Africa Incubator/Accelerator (GAIA) Innovation Challenge 2025 (GAIAthon '25). This event aims to inspire and engage African youth in technological innovation and entrepreneurship. The chosen company will be responsible for enhancing brand visibility, increasing engagement, and driving participation in GAIAthon '25 through a strategic multi-channel outreach approach across Africa.
 
Scope of Work
1. Multi-Channel Communication Campaign: Design and implement a comprehensive campaign to promote GAIAthon '25 across Africa, utilising social media, press, newsletters, and digital platforms.
2. Content Creation: Develop engaging content, including social media posts, press releases, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials, to raise awareness and attract participants.
3. Brand Identity Development: Create a strong, cohesive brand identity for GAIAthon '25, including logos, taglines, graphics, and promotional videos that appeal to the target audience.
4. Media Relations: Manage media coverage by drafting press releases, coordinating media engagement, and, if necessary, organising press conferences.
5. Consistent Branding: Ensure uniform branding across all platforms, including the GAIA Clubs and Edenway Foundation websites, social media, and physical event materials.
6. Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and assess the effectiveness of the campaign, adjusting strategies to maximise reach and engagement. 

Deliverables
1. A detailed communication campaign strategy document.
2. Compelling content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and press releases.
3. Brand identity materials, including logos, taglines, promotional videos, and graphics.
4. Media relations materials such as press releases and briefing documents.
5. Monitoring and evaluation reports detailing the effectiveness of the campaign, including metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates. 

Eligibility Criteria
Applications will ONLY be acceptable from private companies registered in any African Union member state. The private company  should possess the following qualifications and skills:
1. Proven experience in communication campaigns of similar scale and complexity, preferably within Africa.
2. Demonstrated success in developing brand identities and managing media relations.
3. Experience working with youth engagement initiatives, technological innovation events, or similar fields is highly desirable.
4. Ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality materials that resonate with a diverse audience.

Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:
1. Experience and Qualifications (30%) – Relevant experience in communication, branding, and media relations, particularly within Africa.
2. Proposed Approach (30%) – Quality and creativity of the proposed approach, including methodologies and strategies for effective outreach and engagement.
3. Quality of Previous Work (20%) – Review of previous work and demonstrated results in similar communication campaigns.
4. Budget and Timelines (20%) – Clarity and feasibility of the proposed budget and timelines.
